Becky Toal
About the author
Becky Toal has over 10 years’ experience as an environmental manager and has skills in
corporate responsibility, environmental auditing and sustainable procurement.
Having worked for the Co-operative Group for four years heading up the environmental programme
and for English Nature as the environment manager – Becky has provided advice to a range
of sectors and delivered management systems (including ISO 14001) corporate responsibility
reports and training on social, ethical and environmental issues since 2000.
Trained as an environmental auditor, Becky is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), a full member
of the Institute of Environmental Management (Iema) and holds degrees in Environmental
Management (MBA), Environmental Impact Assessment (MSc) and Ecology (BSc).
Becky established Crowberry Consulting, a consultancy based in the North West of England, in 2006, to provide services to businesses, charities and the non-governmental sector on environmental management, ethical issues and corporate responsibility management. Crowberry’s objective is to deliver clients’ needs in an open and honest way to manage social, ethical and environmental risks and add value to the clients brand by doing so.
