About the author
After achieving a degree in Biological Sciences, Jane started her career in 1988 as a sales representative with Beechams (now GlaxoSmithKline). Selling to Hospital doctors and GPs, she was able to develop her selling, presentation and customer care skills in a bluechip environment. Jane later moved into full time training positions, conducting one to one and group training.
In 1996, Jane decided to set up her own training company, dedicated to helping others achieve excellence. Believing that customers should pay for results, not training gave rise to the company name – Results Through Training! In 1998 Jane’s husband Dale Walsh joined the business and the two have built a successful portfolio of bluechip clients.
Results Through Training have run a number of large modular programmes including leadership and management development as well as stand alone courses like teambuilding, sales training, customer service, time and stress management and presentation skills.
As a qualified NLP practitioner, published author of articles and former Chairperson of the Sales Training Association, Jane brings experience and creativity to the training. Her key focus is to ensure that end results are generated by inspiring delegates to take action. Her training style is to blend fun with learning.
Outside work Jane has set up an organisation called Charity Days to provide cost only training for charities and is chairperson of the local RSPCA committee.
